Registration Fee(Registration will start on October 5th, 2016)
Please see below for the registration and pre-Congress seminar fees.
We recommend you register in advance. There are limited seats for the Japanese cultural programs such as tea ceremony, calligraphy, flower arrangement, and more. (*See the Program page for the details.)
The early-bird registration period is from October 5, 2016 to February 28, 2017.
The regular registration will be from March 1, 2017 to May 31, 2017.
After this period, registration will be in person only at the registration desk.
If your paper submissions have been accepted for the WCMT2017, the main presenter needs to complete the registration process and payment by the end of January.
If you want to attend the Congress with the One-day pass, you can purchase the One-day pass for 2 days maximum.

※ Cancellation Policy
If a registrant is unable to attend the Congress for any reason, cancellation is possible until May 31, 2017 (Japan Time). A 2,000 yen cancellation fee will be deducted from Congress registration fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations after May 31, 2017.
※ About the Student Fee
Full time students will be eligible for the reduced rate at the time of registration.
Student Status:
- (1) At the time of registration, individuals must be enrolled as full-time Undergraduate or Graduate (a Master and a Doctoral) students. Intern students are included.
- (2) At the time of registration, individuals must be enrolled as full-time students at a vocational school, specialized training school, or a high school. This does not include individuals who are auditors or credit auditors.
* Not applicable for student status.
- (1) A regular member of Japanese Music Therapy Association (JMTA); however, if you are a student member you can register as a student.
- (2) A regular member of World Federation of Music Therapy (WFMT); however, if you are a student member of WFMT you can register as a student.
* Necessary procedure
When registering, check “student” and a write the name of your educational institution. Proof of student status (student ID or a letter from your director stating that you are enrolled as a student) will be needed. Please submit a PDF copy as an e-mail attachment (please go to the registration page for details).
※ Rate for WFMT Members
The reduced registration rate is for individual professional or individual associate members of WFMT only. Individuals must be members for the term in which the Congress occurs, 2017-2020. (Please note, Membership of the WFMT is for a three-year term, from July 1 in the year of a World Congress to June 30 in the year of the subsequent World Congress). Therefore 2014-2017 term members are not eligible for the reduced rate at the 2017 WCMT.
